A comfortable family room offered a beautiful view of the loch, making for a lovely stay. The cooked breakfast was a highlight, offering a wide range of options to choose from. the soundproofing could be better as noises from other rooms were noticeable, and the Wi-Fi connection was unreliable in our room. Dining next door was decent but fell short of expectations, with the food being rather average.

During my stay, the charming decoration and cozy ambiance of the Lochside Guest House made it feel warm and inviting, perfectly accessible for seniors like me to enjoy the surroundings without any hassle....  

Great stay with stunning loch views

Had a nice 4 nights here. My room was roomy and warm, with fantastic views over the loch. The shower had killer pressure, tho it was slightly blocked at first. The staff were super friendly—helped me get in late and gave me a bigger room. Great pub nearby for decent food too! Just wish the service was a bit more attentive.

The views of the loch from our room were nothing short of breathtaking, like something out of a dream. The breakfast was filling, with all the hearty options you could imagine, perfect for my family...  

Breathtaking views of the loch from the room created a perfect backdrop for relaxation. The cooked-to-order breakfast featured hearty options that kicked off the day right.

The radiator took a while to heat up, making the room feel a bit chilly initially. The advertised guest Wi-Fi was another snag. the provided network name never connected, which left me feeling a bit disconnected. I also found a cleaning oversight in the cupboard, where remnants from a previous guest lingered, indicating a need for sharper housekeeping. While the soup was flavorful, it came out on the cold side, along with rubbery rolls that could’ve used a little extra care in their preparation. the experience had its highlights, but attention to detail could use some fine-tuning.

The location was stunning, right beside the loch, and there was ample parking available. Staff were friendly and accommodating, which made for a pleasant atmosphere. Breakfast was very good and the room was a decent size. We experienced some issues with cleanliness and the overall upkeep of the facilities.

I spent a wonderful two nights at the Lochside, appreciating the breathtaking views of Loch Long! The breakfast options exceeded my expectations. Only downside was the limited WiFi connectivity in my room. a lovely stay with an inviting atmosphere.

Although the place wasn't the cheapest, the experience was reasonable and delightful, especially with the delicious breakfast options to start our day. the mattress was a bit too soft for my preference, causing us to roll together during the night.
